I am at work the day after Thanksgiving…..Many people will prefer taking day off and staying at home andrush to the malls for the Black Friday sale…..It is surprising but true, I am not too much into this whole shopping thing especially with A n M both of em can be real pain in the behind wen it comes to shopping. I would rather go by myself to Ann Tyalor Loft and pick quickly buy the stuff I want.
Today the whole floor looks very quiet and and people present in the office are in no mood to work…..but I guess I have to concentrate and finish some task today as next week is going to be really really tough….this happens all the time……and the silence today can be referred as “silence before the storm”
Thanksgiving was good this time. I had a friend visiting me who moved to US recently from cyprus. She came to NYC on wed evening, we both went home together……cooked dinner, we all ate, put A to bed and M was working frm home…..Me and K went down and spoke for hours……all of a sudden I realised tat its already 3:00 in the morning…..went to sleep as A would wake up at 7:00 next day morning…..
We stayed home whole of thanksgiving day and went out for dinner at an indian restaurants.
This was a good reunion, I met K after a gap of 3 yrs…..but it felt as if it was yesterday we last met.
Today morning both of us came to midtown together, she took a train to her house and I came to work……
Now looking forward to for the weekend.
